So deeply do we care for you that we are determined to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you have become very dear to us.

Who We Are

Our Congregation
We are associated with the United Church of Christ, a 50-year old Protestant denomination. Our denomination is a merger of four old fellowships: the Congregational, Christian, Evangelical and Reformed - whose roots date back to the sixteenth century in England and Germany. The diverse branches live together as the U.C.C. denomination because of their belief in the Biblical mandate from John's Gospel, "that they all may be one."

Our governing is congregational in polity, with individual conscience and conversation with the Creator as a tenet of the faith. Our tradition is Trinitarian, believing in One Creator, God, Jesus the Son and Redeemer, and the sustaining presence of the Holy Spirit.

We celebrate two sacraments - Baptism (infant and adult) and Holy Communion (where individual churches decide frequency and style to share the sacrament). Our congregation offers communion the first Sunday of each month.

The United Church of Christ, East Goshen began in 1970 as a mission church of the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference. We rejoice in our active fellowship and Spiritual growth.
